2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jan 15, 2006
I had a bit of a dehydrated kinda feeling early on today but feel fine now espeially as I've just got meself a large, no very* large g&T to get the afternoon going full schwing <evilgriN. Pity you had to leave early Roymondo, and others too Hows about for an idea, as I saw this in the backlog; at the summer meet having our picnic in hyde park for those that want it, and arrange the q gardens as an alternative; and if theres far much more interest in the Q gardens (that I'd kinda like to go to q myself believe it or not), then just run that as teh afternoon activity; make a change from the usueal sitting in the rain in hyde park drinking Verve Que Quo I'm hopeuflly going to get round to writing a blog of the meet or a log of the meet in my jorunal soon, as per usueal it will be in several sections

Got back home at a reasonably civilised hour...I have a set of photos extremely similar to Reefgirl's - I'm sure everyone else has too!
Went out for lunch with B'Elana and Mr. B'Elana; they then headed off to Paddington for the Heathrow Express, I came home and has "a little lie down", then came on here.
Thanks to MMF for Kew, chilli and mulled wine; thanks to Reefgirl for biscuis; thanks top Paully and Jim for the quiz; thanks to *everyone* for joining in the chicken song!

Ah, 'The Chicken Song' will be hard to beat as cultural highlight of 2006.

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Posted Jan 15, 2006
Twas a great first meet for the Dreadfuls, and thanks to everyone (especuially Bald Bloke) for making us feel welcome until people we knew turned up.
We'll definitely be doing this again (although the pirate outfit will have to wait until the next winter meet... I don't fancy wearing a lot of wool and linen in London in the summer.

Only home for about 15 min, and although the journey home was a tad longer than the journey there ( we managed to get lost
hang on
In Frankfurt Airport , and it wasn't the first time this happened, only the last time I got lost before taking the 'Sky Line', this time, we managed after leaving it
It was a fantatstic weekend and I'd want to thank everybody for making it so fantatstic. I managed to talk to everybody , even if I only said 'hello' to some people, but I did say hello
Mr. B enjoyed himself so much, that he said he'll go to the next meet if he can get the time off.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of you again in April, and the rest hopefully at the next London meet, plus those who couldn't make it this time.
Looking forward to see the photos
