well, maybe, red dog - after all, you never know - but mine's due to a bottle of dye.

Mine my be red for similar reasons soon. Depends on how I feel after work today...

My hair management consists of washing nearly every morning, brushing occasionally, and concidering going to a barber every six months. I haven't had it trimmed since January.

You must have lovely long hair then, Arl. Mine's still most of the way down my back - despite the fact that I had five inches chopped off about two months ago.

It now touches my shoulders. This is the longest it's ever been.

(I did end up trimming my beard a bit this morning )

*The ship suddenly rocks as it is bumped from beneath. Seconds later, it is bumped again, this time on the opposite side and harder. Whatever hit the ship must be huge! And to feel the boat rocking this way is terrifying. Fortunately the ship itself is not damaged.

As the ship settles again, the sea begins to bubble and froth just off the starboard rail. Just as the sea appears to be boiling, a huge pointed head appears and two eyes peer at the ship. Moments later a tentacle snakes over the rail and heads toward the galley.*




Okay, here's how fighting this thing works. Whenever you take an action against it (i.e. slicing at a tentacle, firing at the body), simply describe the action, and I will tell you the outcome. Then I will describe the creature's next move. In other words, the fighting will go in rounds.

*Cold blue fire has enveloped the ship briefly. It seemed to be funneled into the creature and was extinguished with a loud report and bright flash. The creature was knocked back and withdrew its tentacle. After a few minutes however, it returned and anonther tentacle snaked over the rail and into the galley.*


Creature's strength reduced from 150 to 110

Captain Briggs has got the key to the weapons locker !! All I`m armed with at the minute is my wits, a belaying pin and a highly developed sense of self-preservation

Okay, G7 says that the Captain may not be able to post too much for the next while. I'll post in the mess thread that he jumps up and runs to the forecastle and unlocks the weapons locker.

the things i miss being on the west coast... sheesh!

We've got one of these in Lake Powell.

Lake Powell be in my state my friend... Just the damn is out of Utah. the majority of that pisspot sewer of a lake is damaging my canyopne
