The holiday season is upon us so I won't bore you with a long, involved editorial. Many h2g2ers have the luck to be away on their annual holidays at the moment. If you have the good fortune to have clear skies with no clouds (in the northern hemisphere) then remember to check the heavens during the next few days when The Persieds meteorite shower will be upon us again. Revisit the Once-a-year Opportunity article to read all about it and then check The Persieds Shower to read the results from last year. I know that I will be gazing skyward... weather and cloud permitting! Stop press: A page for anyone who wants to submit a report on the 'Shower' this year has been set up at Perseids 2001. Post your results to a forum here if you manage to see anything! The Post Big Bandwagon grinds to a halt this week. It was fun, I think, for the participants... I know that I certainly enjoyed running it and found even more friends. We are proud to announce that the popular Wowbagger cartoons are now safely archived for you to look back on. You can access the relevant links by dropping in at The Post Office. Some of your favourite writers are still away, but others have stepped in to fill the gap.
