Hi Shazz
There's some weird thing happening when reading the Post with the Opera browser! The links are working (once you know where they are) but right click / copy and paste doesn't work. Somehow Opera doesn't seem to be able to recognise nested constructions like this:
Notes From a Small Planet.
Perhaps you could play around with the GuideML a bit?

Hi Bossel
I (with Mark's help as Pastey is not available atm) have 'fiddled around' with the GuideML on the 'Notes' article... could you see if that works any better?
I am stuck for checking it as I use the dreaded IE browser so have no way of checking it myself.
When you mention the 'right click', do you mean the shortcut for opening a new window to view the article?
Thanks for pointing this out.
Does this mean I'll have to recode all the Front pages I wonder!

Yes
'Notes from a small planet' is fully recognised as a link and works fine
I don't think you'd have to rewrite past issues, but if you could use the format for future ones?

The one problem with doing that is the actual *look* of the Front Page when viewed in goo!
Suddenly the links turn to orange rather then the two-colour coding which Pastey designed.
I think that I may run a survey to find out how many readers actually use Opera before changing the look of The Post for future editions.
We took some time and thought over how to revamp the 'look' back in November/December.

How that? It shouldn't make a difference to the decor when you change the way the tags are nested into each other. tstststs

Exactly!
I think I will have to wait until Pastey is available again and see if he can suggest a way around the problem!

I have taken the liberty of 'lifting' your neat article about the playing deck and various terms used is basic games...
I think this could run as an informative article in its own right with maybe an introduction added as to what the intent is and links to where readers could offer to write about other games.
If this meets with your approval I'll set it up and send you the url to check it over. It would be best to try and get it done this week as I may be taking a short sabbatical for the next couple of weeks.
I was toying with writing about Bezique but, sadly, just haven't had to time recently... it is still 'on the cards' though!

Arghhh!
Bizarre! Sorry Bossel, that last posting was destined for another forum... serves me right for having too many browsers open!
