And then I couldn't sleep, so I got up but it was too early to be getting up, so I stayed up for a while and then I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't go back to sleep, so I tossed and turned for hours and hours and still couldn't sleep, and then I finally went to sleep and as soon as I got to sleep the alarm went off but I didn't wake up until 6 hours later, but I had to go to work anyway, even though I was still sound asleep.
And that's why I was driving with my eyes closed.

I couldn't get here in time because
I was late getting in from New York
last night. I took a wrong turn in
Chappaqua, and lost precious time
retracing my route to the right turnoff.
