Ladies and Gentlemen and Tim.

Our beloved leader has inspired what I believe to be a fantastically smiley - cool idea (and surely less contentious than months?).

The Thingite calendar is to have names for different years. Let's face it 2001, 2002 etc are boring (and as it has been proved, not accurate as J.C. was born several years before the year 0 anyway)

I 'll begin by suggesting that 2001 be known as
The Year It was Made Up.

This gives a whole year in honour of Clive for 2002:
The Year of the (Flying) Ostrich.

All Thingite members can now book their own year and give it the name of your choice (subject to availability). This offer is currently restricted to One year per Thingite member and to the years 2003-2100 only.

Book early to avoid disappointment!Hope your year brings you lots of pleasure (Sorry, but no swopping if your year turns out to be a damp squib.)
smiley - biggrin
X Pu.

I bags 2003 and declare it to be Year of the Damp Squib.

That way if it is a damp squib I won't be disappointed.

Hmm... I think I'll refrain from booking a year, at least for now.
