Deep in the Heart of Texas is one of my "Hum songs".
These are the songs I hum to myself or sing out loud when driving down the highway.
This includes Walk on the wild side, subterannean homesick blues, Amazing Grace and Bob the Builder.
I'm not eclectic I'm just too lazy to stick to any genre.

My mother's most embarrasing moment:
Three weeks ago, I was giving her a ride to the store, and was low on gas. Heading to the 7-11, I was surprised to hear that old Joe Diffe song come on the radio, "Prop me up beside the juke box if I die" I turned it up and sang along, off key and loud. I had the window rolled down, and I just didn't care. As we pulled up to the pump, I helped old Joe finish the song (with gusto), ignoring the guy at the pump next to me.
Mom was hammering on my arm to shut me up, but the guy was grinning.
She gets embarrassed easily. Heh, heh.

At the moment, the song which I am continually singing to myself is Waterloo by ABBA.
Urrrrggggghhhhh! Someone put it on at a party on Doobry night and I can't seem to shake it.
Please, please, please HELP ME!
Will getting (again) help to relieve this abominable condition?

I don't usually admit this in public, but about the only song I can sing along with is Copacabana by Barry Manilow! I think it is because he is one of the few singers who's voice is as off key as mine!

I usually sing whatever songwas recently mentioned... in our first English class, my teacher was using names off the top of her head for our parents, and she said "if your mother is Jane Smith... and your father is Tom Jones..." My friend and I immediately began singing It's Not Unusual softly...
