h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

[The clones start singing "My way" to ease the tension, or possibly to excaberate it...]

The boy Heavy toys with the idea of using his adamntite claws to cut his way from the cage, but then decides to let GL have some fun. Nice to see you, BTW.

[Mewtwo sits down and thinks]

[After a moment, he continues to think]

[He soon continues to continue to think]

[Mewtwo] "Wow! I just figured out how to speak verbally!"

[Vekura] "Hmm ... it's a bit hard."

*After a full night working, GL straightens up from his work and blearily looks at the circuit board he has just constucted. He yawns and wishes he could go to bed, but then he thinks of his friends trapped in the past and wills himself to carry on. He gets up and plods to the kitchen and makes himself a coffee. Feeling somewhat better after drinking it, he returns to the lab and installs the new circuit board in the time machine. Regreting not having time to test the circuit board first, he nevertheless sets the controls for the precise time that the security computer calculated for where Affy and Uncle Heavy are. Just before pushing the big green button, GL remembers that his friends are in cages. He exits the machine, goes to one of the store rooms and gets a pocket laser.He also double checks his snowzar. He then returns to the time machine, takes a deep breath and pushes the green button.*

*Uncle drums his fingers on the bars of his cage. He toys with the idea of using his laser cutter watch, but decides against it.*

[You couldn't anyway. It's in its medieval equivalent.]

[Y2K] Y3C, do your worst.

[Y3C employs a Chiss martial art called "Krath'Dah". Using it, he bangs all the bars out of shape.]

[Y2K] Woo-hoo!

[He and the clones race out of their cage and free the rest of the Bad Guys]

[Y2K] [to the good guys] We'd love to let you good guys go, too, and give us a challenge, only we're not going to. Ha-ha!

[Mewtwo] "You won't get away with this!"

[Vekura] "Watch them."

[Mewtwo] "Well, even with my Special rating a dud, I'll show you that my Attack rating's still superhuman!"

[He grabs the bars and bends them far enough apart to get his head through. His lower half is still wedged inside.]

[Mewtwo] "Whoops."

[Vekura] "Just get the bottom half open."

[Mewtwo] "Sure thing!"

[He reaches down and snaps the bottom off all the bars, after which he exits and frees the good guys]

[Mewtwo] "Great! Follow me!"

[They exit the medieval bank]

And after all that work GL did? I'll wait for him here.

[Elorex, 2 and 3 are adjusting to their new environment well, having already stolen a cut and run raucus around the town]

Elorex: I say... this is rather fun... I wish I had been there... to see the look on HP's face when this happened... I wonder if he's devolved or something like that...*cart bursts through comedy watermelon stand*

2: I doubt it... but he'll definitely be miffed that all his gadgets are gone... he's nothing without his gadgets...

3: Yesssss... he'sss jussst a ssssmall time crook with a big time armoury...

Elorex: Indeed... Fellas... I believe this is a new age for us... a new dawn in unauthorised, unorganised crime... we should celebrate..

2 & 3: Good idea...

[A Black Knight (Y2K) suddenly appears on horseback, holding a lance]

[Y2K] Avast thee!

*sea notices she is free*

[sea] yippeeeeeee!!!!

*sea runs outside to see a lot of medieval people staring at her strange attire. sea looks down and sees a tube top, miniskirt, and combat boots- her usual look*

[sea] i have a REALLY bad feeling about this.....

*sea decides she had better get the **** out of here and runs off*

*evillene laughs at her, and the people look around, confused*

[Y2K picks someone at random -- an elf, it appears, dressed in green and accompanied by a faery -- and turns the horse at him]

[Y2K] CHARGE!

[The horse snorts, paws the ground and charges. Y3K yells something]

[Y2K] What!? [turns back to his target] Oh no!

[The reason he says this is that he is charging at Link (11-years old), who has just drawn the sword he starts with in Majora's Mask]

[Link] I've done this before.

[sees that Y2K's horse is bigger than in the last encounter]

[Link] Of course, I was 17 at the time, using the Master Sword.

[Link gets nervous, raises his sword, and jumps into the air. This throws Y2K into confusion, and the horse rears. There is a cloud of dust, and when it clears, we see the horse looking relaxed, and Link sitting backwards on it. Y2K is nowhere to be seen]

*sea, meanwhile, has run into an empty cottage. she looks around and spies a long black cloak. she slips it over her head and goes back outside to the medieval bank*

[Mewtwo and Vekura are watching Link]

[Mewtwo] "Bravo!"

[Vekura] "Hmm ... what's happened to Y2K?"

[sea] hmm... what DID he do with Y2K?

*sea tackles link*

[sea] *shaking him* WHAT DID YOU DO WITH Y2K?!?!?!?!

((hehe... link's being attacked by the Scottish Widow...hehe))

[HP}=~~(not here really)

*Thinks for a few more moments, before slapping his head*

Oh, I've got it! Those three obviously haven't researched me too much. Had they done so, they would've realized my third most common appearance. Appearance one is that of the mad scientist.

*Motions to the ice cube sling-shot*

Appearance two, Holistic Detective.

*Motions to his trenchcoat (now a cloak), and his magnum (now a small spring-loaded flint, capable of causing sparks)*

However, they neglected my third most common appearance: Zork!

*Opens his trenchcoat, and pulls out his enchanter's robe, his spellbook, his staff, his elvish sword, and his other adventure gear. He quickly changes out of his detective gear (revealing the medeival equivalent of a Tshirt and blue jeans), and into his adventure/enchanting gear*

You see, when I'm in adventure mode I'm already in a medeival equivalent! I should've thought of this before.

*Opens his spell book and starts going through the spells*

Okay, we need to revert Atross City back to its normal state along with beating off STUMPED, EG, and whoever those three other villains are. Thanks to a warning pager I installed on my person a while back, GL at CLI has probably heard and seen nearly everything that happened up to the time jump. He should be able to modify the TRC enough to get into Atross without all of our 24th Century stuff being altered too much. But until then, we need to wargame.

*Affy pulls out a map of Atross city (thankfully now showing all of the new changes to the city thanks to the temporal anamoly), and starts looking it over*

Okay, that sinister looking tower (I'll guess it's the EG HeadQuarters due to the skull and moat and such), is the tallest point in the city. We'll have to get there. I've got a few spells I can alter, and they would probably be able to change the city back to normal, but it'll take time. While we're waiting for GL, I'll work on it.

*Looks at the locks*

Should I just REZROV the lock, or wait for GL?

[YK appears for no adequately explored reason. He is in Jedi gear, and therefor unchanged (except for the lightsaber]

[YK] I suggest you wait for GL.

[Meanwhile]

[Link does some tricky movements, getting on top and standing on Sea's ... never mind]

[Link] Nothing! Honest!

[Y2K appears out of nowhere, punches Link off of Sea's butt, and says]

[Y2K] I'm right here.
