A Conversation for H2G2 Waterworks: The Sewers
Shall I compare thee to a summer's Sewer Circus?
Bluebottle Posted May 23, 2000
Juggling - that is always an essential part of a circus. What we do need is a monster that'll let us hit it with custard pies all day - any ideas?

It might be even more entertaining to have someone who is quick on their feet pie-ing some of the "less understanding" monsters, then running away...

not to normal lions, they get fed to the real monster-radioactiv-mutated-angry-moody-lions.
I like the idea of people getting fed to lions...

Bluebottle Posted May 25, 2000
I wonder if the people would like that idea?
We could feed monsters to the lions? The type of monster that breeds like rabbits and looks very nasty. That could be a crowd pleaser, but the lions wouldn't be hungry if we kept feeding them so often.

btw, Bluebottle, what's the logic behind the "internet banking" statement?* Surely the best way to help villages is to ban money - that way villagers will be wealthier on average (under a barter system) than city dwellers...
(* note to cyber-archaeologists - reference to BB's current nick. If he's changed it by the time you read this, it will make no sense )

There is a very strong reason behind my current nick, but I don't know if this is really the place to say. I can let you know, though.

Great! Could you just herd them past this bar code reader, so we can see what sort of noise it makes? (I've always wanted to try that!)

What's wrong with Dragons? They're nice really, it's just they don't always get understood.
(Besides, my cousin Alfred's one)

Is your cousin the two headed yellow one, who ate my evil twin? (Actually I'm the evil twin...)
