Yes. I have a few optimisation chips back there, minute little things...
I've also got a pair of sunglasses that...*takes them out of one of his any pockets in hhis infamous green jacket, and puts them on*...will analyse anything significant that coes into view, and will display statistics on it...
They also help me aim my Watch, and other such things...

How about a brownfield site for redevelopment then
GR, I think Lil is planning on moving the thread soon. She keeps hinting at it when she comes into the salon, but the Billy work is keeping her tied up a lot.

I had thought about changing posts after 1000 because I was never in 4 figures before.
Big C, get your sunglasses to restore the 'm' on that keyboard. You have my sympathy, though. Why are the m's the first to go??
Kasia, I have a sign for you. It is at
[Broken link removed by Moderator]I made it extremely traditional, and with a limited colour range to speed loading, although I think it spoiled the logo a bit. Is this the kind of thing you had in mind? Oh, and what colour background? I have not yet troubled to learn how to make transparent GIFs yet ... but I ~hate~ that aliasing you get when you don't feather into the background colour.
I miss Odra. She was starting school about now, you know, so maybe she has moved off to a place with no net access ... like Antarctica, or some Pacific atoll.
QMike, where are these two new guide entries?

Nice sign.
As for places with no net access, antarctica does (or at least one US base does), see http://www.h2g2.com/U119367

It's alright now Lil, thanks...I'm back home in RL, so my keyboard's OK...
oooh...nice sign...
Oh, if you want a program for doing really, truly amazing graphics, and making the background colour for GIF's transparent easily, I know one...
I don't want to advertise here without your permission though...
All I will say is that I know ways around paying for it...

Big C, I have the software (and I believe in paying for it ), but I simply haven't taken the time to sit down and study at how one does it. Mainly for the reason specified earlier...
OK, we'll have a tex-mex dinner tomorrow. Anybody here unfamiliar with burritos and tacos and chimichangas? Chili, of course, but there's also a range of excellent southwestern cuisine that a lot of people don't hear about.
I tried to post here last night, incidentally, but I had those XML errors that I have overheard the rest of you talking about. They seem to have gone...

Hmm....OK Lil, if you're happy with your software...
And I do intend to eventually buy the software, but I don't have the money right now...I'm just, ahem, extending the evaluation period...
The software you have, would it be FW by MM?

Lil and I both use Painter (now owned by Corel). I usually have to tidy up transparent gifs in GraphicConverter before publication. GC is a shareware programme available for the Macintosh. I don't know what the PC equivalent is.
