Heheh, I don't mind what happens here, as long as it's fine in Paris and Italy when I go there!
Hmmm... it's stopped now. It's like a cloud burst, dropped all the water in one go, and then disappeared!

On the subject of blobs, is it possible to refrain from having the CLI logo getting registered, Lil? Without giving too much away, the official CLI website is becoming more and more of a possibility, and I don't want many loose ends left if the time comes.

G7, you have been getting our weather again. It has been doing that for days here. Last night the rain lasted ten minutes and soaked my truck (inside mind you I forgo to roll up my window) in minutes.

It's been raining here, too. Looks like there's one big cloud over the whole world.

The rain has been horrid. I don't mind a nice little rain storm, but these have been neither nice nor little...
Ah well, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. After all, I was saying that we needed rain earlier in the year.

A problem that we are having is the fact that the rain will melt the little snow pack we have in the mountains fasterr than if left dry. We are sweating a drought this year and had very low snowfall. Watering your lawn may soon be illegal till fall.

*floating in, wrapped in a bath robe, thoroughly confused*
How come it's raining everywhere at the same time?
We finally got the thunderstorm that was supposed to arrive on Sunday, with a lot of thunder (woke me up in the morning) and a lot of raining...
...when the raining stopped, I thought I'd go shopping (food) and on my way home (yep! of COURSE it was half way home, of COURSE it was between two sheltered bus stops, and of COURSE I had paper bags!)...
...it started POURING down, like a huge bucket of water turned upside-down, and then a break, and then another bucket, and then a break, and then another bucket...
...when I finally reached home, I was soaking wet, so wet it's been AGES ago since I was that soaked...
...you know, when every step sounds like 'squelch' 'squelch' and you can wringe water out of every piece of clothing including underwear...
...good thing it's still warm... *s Springie*

Last night's rain was very warm. I stayed out in it for a bit when I went out to roll up the windows in my Jeep. It was marginally cooler than my normal shower in the summer. But it was very heavy. My Jeep now smells a bit musty, so all of the windows are again open to air it out a bit. The trouble is that the air is too moist for it to be effective.

Erg. Humidity. Never liked it. My sympathy, Marv.

Hmmmmm....
*memories awakening*
There was this time I visited the south of Switzerland, and the spring raings (usually ocurring every 7 years) appeared only 4 years after the latest one...
...we couldn't hang our laundry to dry outdoors, since it was raining day and night...
...and it wouldn't dry indoors either, much too humid - hey! Even the ants moved into our basement flat! One evening, we noticed they were marching across one of the book shelves in the living room...
...and the next morning, those of us who weren't alredy up, were awakened by an 'Eeeeeeeeeeek!' from the bathroom - rushing in, we saw hundreds (no, I swear, this is not an exaggeration) pouring out of the socket(?) and out on the floor...
...and 2 weeks later, back in Sweden, unpacking, I found my clothes still damp...

Wow, T! That's alot of water...
We've been able to open our windows the last couple of nights to air the apartment out. The rain has managed to cool us down enough that its comfortable now. At this point all that remains is to dry out a bit here. The trees and grass are a luverly green though.
We didn't get a large number of snowstorms, but the ones we got were heavy enough that I can still see snow on the mountains. We're more worried about flash floods on this side of the range than drought.
