Heheh, that's another LED done with then. Yes, I was on the punch, d'E.
Ah-hah! My understanding of the word 'gymnasium' is now complete, thankyou.
Lil, I honestly tried for a few minutes yesterday to think up something for the Solstice Song, but nowt came to mind. I'm sure something'll come up eventually.
Amy, I had a look at the Uni Project you pointed out, and it looks most interesting. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't really help, as the only actual programming I do is in HTML (though will learn PHP at some stage), and that isn't even programming, really. My realm is game design, levels in particular.
But I believe you already know that, as I e-mailed you a while ago.

I'm g to loosen up the introduction so that we can link more easily to pages about scripting languages, mark-up languages and human-centric languages.
I'm working on a temporary page from my space because the original intro page was created by PSG and obviously I can't edit that. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A581825 in addtion to the project page already given http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A537635

Hmm. The case of the missing letters. I'm sure I typed them. That should read "I'm going to loosen up..."

Sol, if you're being a tourist guide, a crash helmet might be the appropriate sartorial choice!
Amy, I read through some parts of the project and have posted to your page for the project.
Dark and rainy here, with thunder. Time to resume packing. :-|

The crash helmet sounds like a good idea, yes...
*starts planning a natty little jumpsuit number to go with it*

Thanks for the article, Lil. I have passed it on to the other people in the project.

Just want to point out that that'll be three LEDs in a day and a half... easily leading to my prediction of 6 by the time I get online monday

Amy, I just stopped by your interpretation of the original page and dropped a note saying how I think that I could help. It might help to give a real world example of human centric programming.
Why is it that when I woke up this morning I was free of hangover? That hardly seems fair.

Quick note while I'm waiting for the realtor -- the teacher couple and I have agreed on terms and I'll be signing papers in the next half hour! Property inspection and appraisal should go smoothly the second time around.

Well done, Lil. I do hope it all goes smoothly this time around.
Thanks for your comments on the programming stuff, Marv. I have just replied to your post.

Marv, there's something wrong with that statement about waking up hangover free being somehow a BAD thing...or is it that Presbyterian guilt?!?!?
Good day, all. I swear, if one more person calls me on a Saturday morning at the unholy hour of 8 am, I will have to commit some grievous bodily harm unto them. The last three Saturdays in a row! I mean, I don't want to sleep in 'til noon or anything, but 9 or 9:30 would be lovely. I don't want to wake up on a Saturday earlier than I have to wake up before work during the week.
So, anyway.

It seems unnatural to have no discernable hangover after last night. That I do not have one is a good thing but it makes me worry that when I have a beer with dinner a few nights from now I will feel that I have been on a bender for a week. This seems to happen whenever I have a night out without reprecussion.

Oooh, the delayed reaction hangover. Not a good thing. Okay, I see what you mean now. I went out last night with the ex-mormon girls, and they were just blotto after a shot. I felt like a lush, having two beers and a double baileys. It was just funny watching someone who's even a cheaper date than me....

I'm allergic to alcohol.
Don't laugh.

It's extremely painful! It's one of those odd Chinese genetic traits - about 30% of Chinese and Japanese people are allergic to the stuff.
