Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Started conversation Mar 27, 2001
I make it 30 hex, counting the 5 conversations we had at the Oasis, the one that went on without me and the one I started on my return.
*The atelier now has bare walls and blood-red curtains, and many of its occupants are wearing goo berets. Although the conversations continue, people are clearly thinking before they speak, and no-one is happy about this. Chloe intermittently glows bright chartreuse-green as the EMF of the Moderator makes itself felt. Matina continues to observe Lent by baking only hot cross buns for the salonistas, and Mindspring the Unau dozes in front of the fire, oblivious to moderation*
I see that Peta has joined the Zaphodistas.

But which way is she subverting?
I think it is probably safe to assume that the original PTB don't particularly want all this moderation, if nothing else because of all the hassle they get being asked if this girls name is rude etc. But then, they probably want to keep their jobs more, and who can blame them.
Hmm 30Xth, sounds like an early George Lucas effort.

I've just had to re-reactivate my page. Is it just me or was there a more general problem. I didn't change anything and it came back complete as far as I can see.
Thank you for the compliment in the other thread, Lil. The goo boa gets in the way of the bandolier though so perhaps I won't wear it when the revolution comes.
I stll haven't written much. Woes is me. I've tidied the house, been to the doctor, been shopping, arranged flowers, done the washing, had lunch (twice) and had a nap.

I always found deadlines wonderful for concentrating the mind on what needed to be written. Not that it made them any better for it though

Yep, I wrote some of my best stuff doing all-nighters prior to the deadline date. Imagine what i could have done had i put my mind to it with plenty of time to spare

Hi, folks!
Amy, I had to reactivate my Space yesterday also. It still all seems to be there, though. I'm getting paranoid. It's because I'm wearing a goo beret, isn't it?
*glances into the corners*
Yikes! Look at the time, I have to get to work! See ya bye!

Those who were watching over the weekend will know that I have taken a severe dislike to the BBC h2g2 disclaimer. It looks like my campaign will be successful :-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F47997?thread=103882 I think this calls for a brief moment of rejoicing :-) Matina some

Amy, there is nothing like a pending task for getting me out and about and doing all my ~other~ tasks first. Right now it's taxes I'm not doing. Not doing taxes has kept me busy all day so far!
And I haven't had a problem with my page, my personal space, but it's incredibly minimal just now, in order to grease the download.

Back to hex... All is well in the Force now
I was at the Masters Recital for the fiance of a good friend of mine last night. Beautiful music flowed from the piano. Nothing like classical music to calm the soul.
