I'd never seen the US version before Thursday night, I was pleased. Only problem is when Uni starts again (only 27 agonisingly boring days away) Thursday night is my 'play computer games, eat loads of junk food and get night'

UNI! starting my first year in September. Can't wait but am terrified.

I just skimmed a bit of backlog and blimey, I hadn't heard about the Westlife chap. It's only a matter of time until the others come out! (Not that I'm suggesting any 'showbiz marriages' going on. Oh no. But then would heterosexual males be seen dead performing music like that?)

The US QAF is good, but the British one's still better. The US one turned into a gay soap, whereas the UK one told a story and left it at that, though a full second series would have been nice rather than those two lacklustre episodes.

Good luck to all those starting or returning to uni. I never went but have heard it can be a lot of fun.

Bulent Ersoy, Arabesque singer (formerly transvestite, now transgendered)

BTW, I think the two guys on the cover of that issue are gorgeous ...
