Oooh ... just before I put up my report on the latest update to this game, I've just spotted that one of our 'Wish You Were Queer' can actually be moved across:
Jeremy Sheffield

And here's the update ... since I'm currently (and FINALLY) updating M2M2, I've sorted out Our Great Gays again (A2337824) - adding new people, updating some of the references and even taking out a couple who shouldn't really be there. There are now 323 people in the list - and I've just thought of another one, but I'll post it later.

I've got my first new one in ages - Iyari Limon - Kennedy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

And I've just remembered another one in addition to the one I was thinking of last night:
Baron Waheed Alli (first openly gay peer in House of Lords)
Stephen K. Amos (stand-up comedian)

Just Googled Derren Brown and found much chat about a Telegraph interview but no trace of the interview itself.

A friend of mine gave me a link to a scan(?) of the interview ...

After a couple of years I finally have another name to add to the list.

Oh look, it's my second addition for the year.
Matthew Mitcham, gold medallist, men's 10 metre diving Olympic-type thingy.
I was watching a bit of the coverage and it occurred to me that he was rather more eloquent than the average sportsman, as well as well-groomed and in touch with his emotions. Then I found the news article and realised my gaydar was actually working for once.

It's just a pity he's too young for me...

HonestIago Posted Aug 24, 2008
He's well fit! I was basically watching the diving to just watch him.
That's really quite sad when I think about it...

He's not really my type - but then, none of my 'official' partners have conformed to my notional 'type', either.
Gosh he's nice. Even better, the commercial TV network which is showing the Games here actually made reference to his partner, by name, during their news bulletin without fudging the issue at all. Maybe the Great Australian Public is growing up a bit.
