I'm currently drinking very, very nice beer which is new to me: Theakston's 'Grouse Beater'. It's really, er, hmmm, it has a whiff of, er, well, it could be Ribena. Not sure. It's nice though!

I was drinking Hobgoblin at a BBQ on Saterday and it was very nice , although maybe a little fruity for my taste . I prefer a more bittery bitter if you know what i mean .

Breakfast eggs (scrambled eggs with mushroom and bacon bits) on buttered toast (doorstep, granary or white)

Doorstep eggy bread stacked with crispy bacon and drowned in warm maple syrup.


Both served with Hoggy's if he arrives in time, and orange and grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed by the HQ gimps.

And Roy, no, I didnt think so!

Oooh, and I must try the bottled Hobgoblin cider I saw in a pub on sunday (was driving so had to abstain at the time, sadly)
