...seems to have abated somewhat. They appear to be keeping themselves pretty much to themselves, expending most of their energy in the 'Yikes' thread.
So Bruvv'as, this leaves us with an exciting opportunity to rethink our remit, broaden our bailiwick & further our function.
Any ideas?

If you want to broarden your outlook and further your functions...
(after the amount of chilli you say you've eaten, you must be a right glutton for punishment)
I'd suggest eating more fibre and fruit and drinking lots of water.
I don't remember being asked to think about remits in the first place, though.
What shape are they?
Da' Bruvver'ood: The Sisters' Threat...
Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Oct 1, 2007
They're vaguely Waiter's Friend shaped, complete with cork on the cork screw, but with teddy bear ears where the little knife bit should be.

ah...
Right.
Silly of me to admit my ignorance really, I suppose.
Boy, I love the way everyone's flocking to offer their ideas.
Must be the weather or something.
Whatever it is we decide to stand for, let it be magnificent, expansive and totally unrepentant, eh?
?

It is just slightly possible that, having recently opened a bottle of wine, I looked around the computer desk and pickled the first thing I saw.
Not sure where the teddie ears came from though! Probably something to do with Br. 2legs' thong. These things usually are.
It is also slightly possible that, despite the large, friendly suggestion at the bottom of Da' Bruvver'ood page, people haven't subscribed to the conversations.
It is also also possible that it's just a bit dead here at the moment.
It is also also also possible that nobody's got any ideas.
It is also also also also possible that I owe Br Azathoth a tenner, but that's not relevant right now.

I think most of those reasons are perfectly possible; especially the one about no one having any ideas. That sounds eminently reasonable to me.
OK, you've twisted my arm; let it be wine for this evening.
Cheers.
Son number 2 finished off the JD last night anyway, little beast, and I doubt Son no. 1 has had the decency to leave much Morgans
Ho hum, that means another day trip to France in the near future.
How about a Bruvver'ood trip to Calais for the day? No boring girly retail therapy, just an excuse to get some duty free in, and get langered on the boat over?
And back, of course
Da' Bruvver'ood: The Sisters' Threat...
Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Oct 1, 2007
I really, really wish you hadn't mentioned JD. Do you have any idea how close the offie is?
Very. The offie is very close. I'm really rather tempted.

Oi!
I bet you've slunk out to the offie, you little rogue, you
In which case, can you bring me back a couple bottles of tonic (I've found an unopened bottle of Smirmoff at the back of the cupboard, and feel morally obligated to ensure its not gone off) and an aero bar.

Matt needs our help to overthrow the shackles of being a mere security toy.
Get in there - I'm running out of psyco babble and silly jokes
If you hang on a minute, I'll even find the thread I'm talking about, to

Psst!
(Not quite, but I'm working on it)
I think Matt the Mat wants to join us. He appears to have defacat- erm..... Thingy. Wants to join another side. You know the word I mean... don't you?
I've fobbed Lil off with an old toy badger I've been trying to get rid of for ages. I just need to knit it some knickers and find a toy padlock so he can't be debriefed by the Sisterhood.
Result or what?
Da' Bruvver'ood: The Sisters' Threat...
Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Oct 3, 2007
I think you'll find that Matt The Matt joined us some time ago, which makes his detainment all the more terrible.

He's become braver and stronger since I mentioned s and the hot and cold running s
Do you think we could nip out and buy a few to make him feel comfortable next time he enters our hallowed portals?
We could always keep the ones he doesn't use by for the more macho members of the Bruvver'ood, when they get a Man Cut, or Man Flu.
