2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Mar 19, 2004
I'll have the stilton and whatnot soup please.
The tai chicken, and the cod,
and Hmm, I'll decide on dessert later, but could I have a helping of those vegies to go with my main course, they look, interesting oh, and a bottle of the Riocca if I may

Hmmm, interesting choices. I haven't been over to the bar yet, so I don't know whether we have a decent wine cellar. Certainly an area for development.
The veggies definitely need to be improved on.

What about the globefish, Mr. Kamikazu?
But of course, we still have the Globefish on our menu!

Globefish is still available for the suicidally-minded. You have to ask for it specifically, it's not on the menu.

Evening all! Table for two, please.

Hello, fords and EV. I'm the chef. We don't appear to have invested in any waiting staff as yet, let alone a maitre d'. I'll be taking this up with the management.
During the meanwhile, please seat yourselves at this table. I'd offer you a drink, but we don't appear to have a barman. Or a wine list. I think this hotel opened too quickly.
What would you like to drink?

No waiting staff? Not a problem, we're doing all the waiting ourselves...
Drink? A bottle of your finest I think.

*looks up*
Well, that's a stupid place to put it. I'll have the prawn cocktail and the oven-baked salmon.
