I have just created a menu thread for all the chefs to post what is to be served. It seems less hassle that way, instead of having to scroll back to the beginning of this thread and search out the menu

Yeh, errm, I kind of ordered already didn't I? Where is my table? I was having the leek soup, prawn cocktail, and the steak

hmmmmm may i have.... the butternut squash soup for strters, then for my main meal....the Thai chicken with Ceasar salad (Salad Warning!!!!)

I'll decide on dessert afterwards

Yes sir, please sit down *points to a table* your soup will be coming right up... though are chef is kinda away at the moment, I think... *polite smile covering the fact she's not at all sure what to do* I'll have to check about that, but I'm sure you'll get your food right away, sir.

Well, we do have a chef, so I expect you'll get your soups in a few minutes. Would you like anything to drink?

*comes out of kitchen carrying a plate of Vogon Vegetable soup and a bottle of in an ice bucket*

*puts the plate on the table, sets the bucket in one of those cool stands and uncorks it*

*pokes her head round the door to check how busy the restaurant is getting... notices that there are only two customers, one of whom appears to be asleep*

Looks like I'm onto a cushy job and an early retirement to the bar here.
