Did you hear what Matina way saying? There are CLI bots hiding in the Cafe. And something about hiding the safe, too. Maybe we should try to get over there.

*Walks out of the kitchen*

Yeah, I overheard what she said, too. We definately need to check out the Cafe before we go down to the mine tunnels. A posse of bots could come in handy.

*Watches Chloe and Matina. Nudges Affy.*


Looks like those adamantium/webjello batteries are a success.

Do you think we could get Chloe to go first? If the Café cleaning bot is loose, she might be able to persuade it to let us in unmolested or trick it back into the cupboard.

*Looks at the Red Dogsicle, all covered in sticky peanut whisky and feathers.*

Maybe Red Dog should go first. That would occupy the bot for a while.

Well, the bot won't be getting my spare space blanket.

*takes it off Red Dog, looks at the blanket,*

Perhaps it might be a good idea to leave the blanket to the bot.

*tries to wipe off the feathers that have stuck to her hand*

*crooning wordlessly to herself, Matina sets out chafing dishes of ham, roast beef and dover sole, boiled new potatoes, wild rice, asparagus hollandaise, buttered broccoli florets, artichoke hearts, ears of corn, tossed salad, cornbread rolls, sliced french bread, butter, garlic butter, gravy, roasted yams, mango chutney, a case of Obscure Canadian Beer, 3 bottles of Redbeard's Three Grapes wine, a stack of plates, a heap of flatware, and a pile of freshly ironed damask serviettes*

*She turns back to the kitchen and begins preparing dessert*

*clearly having second thoughts about the sick-looking ones, Matina prepares and sets out a pitcher of New Zealand water*

*Comes into the room, looking stunned after exploring the second floor*

We'd heard about this place, but I'd always dismissed the tales as exagerations. And yet, the tales didn't tell half of it!

*Looks at the food, eyes goggling*

So, another legend comes true!

*Looks at the wine. Looks at the water. Looks at the wine. Looks at the water. Sighs. Pours some water and takes a bit of bread and butter. Calls towards the kitchen.*

You don't have any aspirins in there, do you?

Matina appears to be back on form!

*helps herself to wine and loads a plate with a little bit of everything*

*helping herself to some asparagus, artichoke and garlic butter, hoping that the by-now pre-historic Matina won't mind*
