Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

I don't know how far into the future we are. I don't think that was Marv though, he wouldn't be caught dead calling Micro$oft. Perhaps it was dave.

I really don't know. Everytime I saw him, his feet were hidden from my view.

*Thinking to self*

Books crumbling....I get the feeling that we're much, much further in the future than the last time that we were here. Last time we were here, I think we were only a decade or two past the present. Crumbling books implies that it's significantly past that.

However, it's certainly nice to see that this building's still standing. Certainly glad that I went with the reinforced building materials.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence

*falls over a pile of dusty logs on her way across the salon*

*sits up, rubbing her shin and contemplating the logs*

You know, if I sat down and went through these backlogs, we might find out something about what happened. It can't be 42 thousand years of blog, surely; the place has been abandoned for AGES.

*frowns* I thought I heard the Ape.

It's odd that the bots aren't even around to clean up. They should be impervious to the passage of time, shouldn't they?

*looks at the spot in the Salon where her Queen Anne style wing backed reading chair and foot stool once stood*

All dust, it was such a pretty shade of magenta. I did like it when Amy sat on the arm for a chat. smiley - sigh

*notices something partly buried in the dust on the floor, bends over, picks it up*

Well someone has been using this place - this is a pass for the Shoemakers Trade Union Movement Pedestrian Engineering Department ?

*Notes the name of the organization that the pass comes from in case it will be important later*

Technically, the only CLI bot that I know of that would be totally impervious to time would be Ampton, what with his posession of the philosopher's stone and what-not. The others were primarily nameless stock characters.

Well, come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if the original Montressor was still alive. We designed that robot too well. We can never seem to damage that one enough to get rid of him totally.

*His foot catches on something in the dust. He looks down to see a deflated squid*

So sad....

Marv's feet might be better described as Aircraft Carriers.

It is indeed sad to see the Atelier in such disrepair.

I agree, there is nothing dainty about Marv. I'm sure he'd hate to be described as such, anyway. smiley - winkeye

*stepping forward from the threshold of the kitchen, holding a First-to-the-Forum chalice high in one hand and a snowzar in the other hand, pointed at the group. She is covered with dust and has evidently not stirred in many years*

There can be only one who is First to the Forum before all others!
