*snoring slightly*

*Looks at opposite side*

Almost there....

*looks apologetically at sea*

It's a genetic thing .... we drool, chase balls, hate cats and have deep liquid eyes that can melt the sternest of hearts.

*tries his best look*



I think I need to work on that a bit

*GL doesn't notice the shore approaching until the raft crosses the shoreline and the eel goes taut, jerking GL out of the raft.*

WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

*Hears GL's cry and stops the raft*

Who's overboard?

*Restracts the defenses*

*jerked awake by the grounding of the raft and GL's cry, Lil comes awake, then grabs a rope, leaps out of the raft, and finds a large boulder to wrap the rope around, to moor the raft*

Garius! Let go of the lego!

We've landed?

Where did Garius go?

*points to a deep gouge on the shoreline and a large heap of sand at the end of it*

Maybe that's him ?

GL had the grenade, right?

yes I think so

*crouches down slowly and puts fingers in ears*

*Moves the raft a bit further from GL*

*notices a pin looking very much like the pin that is pulled out of a grenade when you want to throw it lying on the floor of the raft*

Errrrrrrrrrr .....

*shouts in the direction of the receding shore*

Garius .... there's something here you should know about old chap !

*jumps to shore, grabs another rope and wraps it around another boulder -- the Odradek is now moored to shore*

*holds up his shillelagh and uses it like a flashlight to beam light down into the lake*

*The sand mound speaks*

I don't feel good.


The pin has been out of the grenade from the beginning. That's why I had to keep holding it and why the eel couldn't just pull the lego/grenade assembly off of me.

Note that you can pull the pin, but the grenade won't go off until you also release the handle.



I'm starting to feel a bit faint.

*GL's grip on the grenade loosens slightly.*

*the bots have been watching the progress of the Odradek*
*as she is moored, some of the bots are collecting bets. Only one bot seems to have wagered against the raft reaching shore; it wears a crudely drawn purple moustache and is clearly not happy about handing out moxons to the others*

*now the bots run down to the raft, and several begin digging vigorously into the mound while the rest take up defensive positions*

*Jumps out of the raft, unsure as to whether or not he should move further from or closer to GL*
