Me too.. It's terrible, and it often kills the conversations as not everyone can be bothered to move to a new thread. Roasted Amoeba VERY rarely bothers.
And it gets confusing when you have the "I wanna post last" people about.

This bass player could do with just a glass of water please. I'm feeling quite dehydrated.

Deadlock Posted Feb 23, 2000
Hmmm, which goes first tea or milk = 42. No dont think thats THE question. Guess I'll have a hot chocolate this time.
Although isn't there's a song " 2 forty and tea 4 2". which is very close.

I saw Orders, please! on my homepage and immediatly thought
"Don't you give me any orders, for people like me there is no order!"
God I love Sex Pistols!

Perhaps it's a code! 2 forty and tea 4, 2, and Aurthur Dent always trying to explain to the food replicator on the Heart of Gold that he wants dried leaves boiled in water and (I belive) the milk poured in first, so as not to scald it. Perhaps milk and tea ARE part of the ultimate question of Life, the Universe and Everything!
One hot chocolate for you, and just a glass of water for the bass player. Do you play Electric, Standup, Double, or Sea bass?

Electric. Want to tell you about it.
It's cherry red and white, with two furry dice off the end of the neck and a small furry Pikachu on the end of the string (G), amongst the metal stuff at the end.
Standup bass?
What about you, then?

Sounds nice... what brand? Personally, I'm a guitarist and I've got a cherry red (woodgrain, not opaque) Epiphone SG and a nice blond Martin acoustic. Their names are Gloria and Michelle, repsectfully, and Michelle has been with me longer than any woman in my life (save my mother). She doesn't even seem to mind Gloria hanging around...
Of course, my brother one ups me and has a Fender Jazz bass... it's just plain SWEET.

All I know is that mine was votedd guitar of the year last year by Bassist magazine.
I bought a copy and it sucks .
If I had to give my guitar a name, it would be Jonathan. Or Eddie. Asteroid Lil will understand.

Love the new local! Hey, here it is: the first Usual of the forum!
Irving, could I have a Usual, please? Brass band and all?
*Waits to see yet another magnificent display of drink juggling*

*drags himself in after a long day, moves over to the espresso machine, takes out two paddles, like the ones on ER, and zaps his own chest -- wakes up and mixes the drinks*

Did I say "Martin"? Oops, I meant "Sigma", the "entry level" (read "cheaper") company that Martin owns. It looks like a Martin, it sounds very much like a Martin, it actually has the word "Martin" printed on it, in small letters, under "Sigma", but it's not, technically, a Martin. After all, my Epiphon says "Gibson" on it...
Who had the double mocha?

Garius Lupus Posted Feb 24, 2000
Well, unfortunately I never learned to play any sort of instrument and now I'm saving that pleasure for my retirement. For now, I'll have to make due with listening.
Could I have a Majic Tea in this forum too?
