(Redfox continues hacking and slashing his way through the orc horde. There is an unpleasant trail of... gory, unpleasant things behind him.)


I will be AFK until the 1st, so... I'm giving Yar control of me ON THIS BOARD ONLY until I get back. And I know you can play a villain >_> so keep me character, please...

[Red Fox pauses to slip a wad of PAG into his mouth and resumes the fight. ]

[Yar extends his hand to a mounted orc, which fires a few times. Yar telekinetically stops the bullets in midair.]

[Yar] [telepathically translating into Orcish] Nothing personal, but, y'know.

[He holds out his sword to the side, and leaps forward in a blur of motion. The orc looks surprised, apparently unaffected at firsts, but then Yar lands, and carefully sheathes his sword, at which point the orc falls in half accompanied by the Wilhelm scream.]

*concentrates on carefully picking off Orcs that seems to come a bit too close for comfort*

*The whole universe around our "heros" gives a lurch and seems to fade for a moment. Masque has walked down the the street, and though everything comes back into focus almost instantly, he remains, somehow, a little /too/ in focus. He draws one pistol, and lazily shoots an orcish warrior in the head, execution style. The air around him seems to shimmer*

[Masque]: Looks like the curse is beginning to loose its hold. I did say New Year's, after all.

*Unfortunately, the orcs around everyone seem to decide that it would be much more fun if our adventurers could stay here forever... or at least for the rest of their lives. They renew their attack, and more orcs seem to come out of any and all buildings that our group has not explored.*

[Masque]: (shooting another orc in the face) I would look alive, you all, if you want to stay that way.

[Yar] Hmmm ...

[He places a hand on the hilt of his sword; the sheath starts to glow a bluish color as he charges up an attack.]

*Our adventurers battle bravely until the curse-world dissolves around them. They find themselves back in the bar, with the doors open, and Masque gone. The day *would* be the 1st of January, if not for the horrible hangover that struck each of them at midnight on the 31st, causing them to groggily wake on... is it really the 4th already?*

[Yar] ... ow ...

Oh... my head...

Well... tally ho! Off to find the Masque and try and re-recruit him.

*POOF coughcough* of smoke.

*hurries off into the Café*

um

this is the fourth bar in the hootoo district that i have visited... up till now i haven't been able to get a drink...
will i get lucky here? if not, are there any other bars besides the ones i have already visited?

Which ones have you visisted? This bar was... temporary, for a Halloween through New Year's gag.
