Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences Posted Mar 21, 2007
I meant en masse, rather than me specifically. I don't thinkI'm specfically banned from any pub, in London.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Mar 22, 2007
We were thrown out of the Pendrils oak, I'm not sure if we were actually* barred as such, but if its still the same people running it, I very much doubt they'd take kindly to us calling them up and asking that we book their bottom bar for a hootoo meet The bell Book And Candle (now the Olde London), hasn't barred us, but they were getting to picky about things, and the last time we were there we had to pay a deposit, and they were being all uptidly about things Roymondo and I were refused service in the pub just round the corner from Kings Cross on Judd street, but that was entirely his fault. We were also refused service in a couple of other pubs, though they served me just not Roymondo, Roymondo also got refused to be served at the Bell Book and candle a few meets ago and did a fantastic flounce out of the pub We've been told by the bar staff at the Princess Louise to 'keep it down', or we'll be thrown out, but that wasn't even a full blown Hootoo meet, just myself Roymondo RF and MMF if memory serves correct I think thats the currnet history thus far of our banning or otherwise from pubs in central London,

I think EV and fords were also there that time?
We were singing a rousing chorus of Bohemian Rhapsody, I think. Who could possibly object to that?

The Landlord? And all the staff?
I seem to remember I ended up with a nice collection of Sam Smith's glasses as well.
Only got one left. Must go back again soon and rebuild the collection.

Don't forget that Egon and I were nearly ejected from the Princess Louise for wilful misuse of their electric sockets.

ooo That might have been twice they attempted to eject us from the PR for wilful badgerising of famous songs... as it may well ahve also happened the time when we were there with eV and Fords, plus I think another time when there was a smaller crew of us at an impromptu mini/micromeet

Erm... I just wanted to say "yes, I'll be there; hopefully" but I seem to have stumbled into a discussion of being barred from London pubs; ah well, 's'long time since I've done anything that random... I'm in!

Ah, 'tis all fun.
It strikes me that I'm not coming out this thread too well. It is all, as ever, 2legs' fault.
