Well, it would be exaggerating to say
that my "running" was fast enough to
escape a bottle of aspirin-from-Hell.

I don't at all, Lady Scott.
My feet are okay for walking, but they are
so flat that even slow running is problematic.

Too bad.... mine ain't so great either...
see? Two-dimensional, worse than flat!
And if you think that's bad you should see how bad the ankles are!

Trust me Paul ... Unisys is worse than McD*nalds, W*ndows and Sodits ... combined! For one, you need to use W*ndows to run the program on Sodits ... It crashes when you try to do exotic things like "print" or "view". It was made to torture and confuse. It's just awful ...

for the record, usps is far more reliable than ups... usps can successfully deliver a package within the time frame given to roskilde, however ups completely failed to deliver a simple package from one part of the continental u.s. to my easily accessible door in another part of the continental u.s. on more than quite a few occasions.
altho i do have this inexplicable desire to watch dale drive the truck.

::drowns sorrows in a with ::
UPS has taken to ringing the bell and running when they deliver a package. They don't even wait for you to get to the door!

Wait til they start returning the items you purchased -on-sale- back to the shipper and -then- telling you, "Oh, we couldn't find you." (Which was a blatant lie.) I could make the story into an entry.. it's surely long enough, but I won't. If it was recent I'd post it on livejournal.. It's not recent as I've not used them in a while.

Hi there! I'll have to check that out when I have more time!
Yesterday TJ and I drove 3 hours to a friend's house outside Albany for her surprise birthday party. We had a lot of fun! We ended the night with a big bonfire (they live near the woods, and it's a kind of law of the land to build a fire). Her husband had built a bonfire "pit" just for it, and we kept tossing more and more flats onto the fire. By the end of the night the entire 3 foot tall "pit" was overflowing with charcoal. It was lovely to sit in a completely black yard with the stars twinkling overhead, and a lovely fire burning. TJ was kind enough to drag the keg of out to the yard, so nobody even had to get up! We decided to drive the 3 hours back instead of staying overnight, so we got up rather late this morning (okay, almost 2 this afternoon). My throat is kinda raw from the smoke, but otherwise we're rested and happy for the day, and waiting for the rain to start. He just put on a load of wash, and I just made some ... I hear him coming now ... see ya!

Hey Mike! I'm glad you've got work ... sorry it's KP, but glad you're cooking again!
Well, now I'm supposed to be doing homework, but I'm just recovering from a truly awful migraine, am sensitive to the light, and am not thinking straight. Since I'm not thinking straight, I figured this is the place to be.

Quite true... you wouldn't want to be on here if you were thinking straight... can you imagine what this place would be like?!?!?
Deadly boring. ho hum.

Poor Shea. Migraines are awful things.
I used to have a lot of them.
I take propranolol for blood pressure,
but it also prevents migraines. My mother
takes propranolol to stabilize her heartbeat.
She doesn't get migraines any more either.
