Latest on Dying Beast Syndrome is: my zendevil email now appears to be working (albeit slowly) but MSN (the hotmail address) seems to have been wiped out, whether by accident or intent remains to be seen.

So: pleae can any of you who communicate with me by Instant Message please send me one;it may work from your end; or tell me how i can get it back...i may decide to change my Hotmail address; but it will still be recognisable for those of you on here.

I got them & replied to one of them, but it damn well bounced back at me!

This is all very frustrating, i can recieve emails, but not reply direct to them, have to compose a new email. Can't delete the backlog of stupid spam, so that is clogging up the tiny memory space that's left.

Meanwhile, i seem to have acquired some stupid person trying to mess me about via my mobile phone so communication is very limited. I think i will go & watch the with Yoda.

Yes, no problems passing my mobile phone number to Ivan, PC...but the fixed/landline one, i just ignore these days, mainly becuse a new policy from government managed utility companies (ie: electricity, water, phone) is that if the customer is even a few days overdue paying bills, they send you automated messages by phone, starting around 8am. This totally wreaks havoc with my sleep schedule, stresses me out totally & in my personal view amounts to harassment; so i've disengaged the ringing tone, just use the thing to connect to modem.

However, some of them seem to have my mobile phone number also (obviously the telephone & ISP)& have passed on that number & so now i'm getting the same hassle via mobile phone. So quite often, if i need rest, i simply switch that off as well. Plus a few more personal hassles with mobile phone (see Ask thread)so...all in all, maybe best to contact via MSN then switch to phone once i've verified who is calling & when!

I am totally knackered, got paid yesterday, spent most of the day chasing round paying debts, then Green party meeting in the evening. Spent today doing the big monthly shop, to be delivered tomorrow morning. Had a nasty moment coming back up the hill, when i realised i was in severe danger of actually passing out. Not helped by the fact that manic drunk/stoned teenagers are flinging flour & eggs around all over the place..it's apparently traditional in France that 100 days before the BAC exam this happens; jolly good fun i'm sure, but bloody difficult to dodge out of the way, plus i do tend to think *pious little me* that so many people on this small planet would really appreciate flour & eggs to enable them to eat, plus who the hell clears all the mess up?


Ho hum. Anyway, i managed to make it to the nearest café & called Dubman for help, to his credit, he arrived within minutes & carted stuff up the hill & made sure i was OK, but once home, i just collapsed & slept until now.

Gaghh. i *hate* having to ask for help, but if the alternative is flaking out & probably bashing my head on the pavement...

Anyway, once the main body of shopping is delivered tomorrow, i can hopefully relax a bit.

I assume you have been merrily sucking away with your new fiend Mr. Dyson PC? (I still haven't hauled Henry downstairs, though i did make a feeble attempt at sorting the atélier!)

PS: Sorry for the boring depressing tiring posts, but i nearly forgot: We now seem to have a fiendly local arsonist in my street, for two days running the poor ol' firemen have been charging up & down trying to put out fires in the derelict building, hauling water hoses past my door, freaks the living daylights out of Yoda & means i have been unable to take daytime naps...it somewhat sets you on edge.

Hey, it's snowing in Memphis, and it's beautiful. I'll try and get some photos tomorrow. A pretty deep snow too, 4 to 6 inches.
