My excuse= it's not even 6 PM yet, and we're out of Netflix. K's reading, Herman's playing with his mouse, and I came online "for a few minutes" to see what was going on... and found *almost everyone I know* online! (Ivan, Terri, Edward, JEllen, Prof, Fizzy, Bel, anyway)

The results are in for the first round of voting (local erections, but obviously reflect national ones & make a huge difference to Real Life)

Les Verts did good! to us all, i personally recruited at least 20 folk in the last couple of weeks. Here are the results from Angoulême:

Mottet (current mayor, Right wing moderate: 43.99%
Lavaud (Radicaux): 41.59%
Coutant (Greens): 9.61%
Deboeuf (extreme Right): 3.43%
Courtois (Racist party): 1.38%

So: the definitive local elections after this primary are next Sunday. Quelle surprise, les Verts are forming a coalition with les Radicaux.
