I think the end of this week sees the return of Magster.

Defintely right about Monday. When you don't have Monday, Tuesday becomes your new Monday. It was Victoria Day Weekend that just passed and in honour of the Late Queen we Canadians take Monday off.
My weekend was spent Camping where I got 10&1/2 hours of sleep in three nights. And now I'm trying to keep away from coffee. Madness!!! Ahhhh!

Matrix Reloaded has had some terrible reviews here, along the lines of "Great special effects, lousy acting, dreadful dialogue". Are you going to go and see it, then?

How come you get a day off in memory of Queen Victoria, but we don't? Not fair!

I just asked a friend about that. To tell you the truth it's just another excuse for a holiday. I'm not complaining! It is pretty funny that you don't have it off. Matrix, Didn't like it as much as the first one. It felt like there was more of a push to outdo the first one than there was to make a perfect sequel. Many philosophical ideas were thrown in, it seemed at random just for the sake of having them. The Fighting was spectacular and out did the first. There were some characters that I wish would not have been present and others that I wished they would have developed further. The end was very good. Very fitting to continue the story without having an absolutely ghastly cliff hanger (i.e., Rocky and Bullwinkle or the original Batman). It was chunky with parts intensely dedicated to story or just battle. Very interesting but they should take a baby step back.

Went shopping at lunch and now have two fabulous gifts!!!
A book and tickets.
Tickets-Jesus Christ Superstar, mine and my brother's favourite. Super expensive but I got them through a friend for free! They are the complimentary ticket for the VP of Marketing for the National Arts Center of Canada. He's not going to be in town so we get the best seats in the house for the price of a big hugg and a picnic in the park for the favour!
The book-ahhh, now this is interesting. I went to the store to pick up Zen and the Art of Motorcycle repair for him but came back with a book that stems from a discussion about Hitch Hiker. "The Illuminatus!" is a conspiracy theory book with the witt of hitchhiker. It's supposed to explain various things through the eyes of various characters like a squirel in a park or a dolphin...WOW, thatis a long message.

Have you read "Zen & the art of...".? It was hugely admired when it first came out but very quickly faded, I think. Not that that's necessarily a true indicator of actual worth.

This evening's next objective is: a nice cool glass of beer!
