Peter, the yak always humms - personal hygiene is not his forte - and I don't like to hurt his feelings!

A belated good morning to everyone (especially our World Service listeners),
I have decided to introduce a new daily feature to proceedings: 'Ali Dubya's Pet Hate of the Day':
Today's are: South West Trains' service announcers and purple ties;
Today's vegetable: Spinach;
Weather girl: Helen Willets;
Cereal: Ricicles.
Weather today is/was cold with occasional showers.

Extra early good morning I am just squeezing the last few seconds from my BT "Anytime" access....before I ditch them and find a new one!
Alistair...do Ricicles still have those bits in them? They totally spoiled them!
Lovegloves is hungover

Morning everyone.
Weather of the day is wet and cold.
Numpty of the day is me, because in a blinding moment of stupidity I forgot to bring any work clothes, so am sat here in wet dirty cold cycling gear until the shops open.
Board of the day=AF.

Good morning all and a belated birthday greeting to Peter Lovegloves, even if he won't get it till tomorrow as his head aches!
I have just popped up to say hi as V Max sent me an email the other day and I remembered all my friends on h2.
Had a look at FLN and AF but things don’t seem to have changed. However, I don’t really have the time to visit any more a s I have a spiffy new job which is keeping me far too busy!
I will look in from time to time. But for now – hasta la vista (baby).

Mornin' all (Esp Dr Strangegloves, and Peter (belated birthday greetings, my friend)),
Here - wet, miserable and dull. The weather's not too clever either. Boom boom!
As someone who has slept in leather once or twice, out of necessity while camping, I cannot recommend the idea of leather pyjamas. They'll wake you up by squeaking every time you move in your sleep!

Belated birthday greetings to Peter. We'll just tippy-toe around very quietly.

Afternoon Hazel.
Can I be so bold as to suggest an alternative activity, namely getting a bloody yahoo e-mail address and letting CG know what it is?

So sleepy, so very sleepy....
Oh dearest Peter, I've not been on here for a little while so happy belated birthday. I was going to put an exclamation mark at the end of that but then I didn't think that you'd appreciate the yelling. So instead I'll send a .
Phone call of the day--calling your brother in eastern Europe to wish him a happy birthday.
Activity of the day--renting a car and going on a road trip with
friends, this weekend is a long weekend over here.
Reason I wish I were smashed--Irate callers without a point.
Liquid of the day--coffee, lots of coffee.

A very belated happy 23rd birthday to you, Peter.
Strange. I thought I had posted a message on here last night but it appears not to have appeared.
A brief synopsis:
Cold/grey/wet; Helen Willets; the tomato; good old-fashioned corn flakes.
Today's pet hate is graffiti.
I am now going to watch discs 3/4 of my 'evaluation' copy of The Two Towers' and enjoy the magnificent Helm's Deep battle scene once again.
Which is the Eject Button Hazel?
Scarlet Woman, (new and improved)! Posted May 18, 2003
Phew! Hazel I cannot take any more of the sickly MC board today!
I could not reply to you at all just now - all boards seem to have the same problem - I hope Fred survives the Lupine one!

hi CG, yes, it's just not worth playing anything at the moment. I wonder if they are going to leave that "sorry for technical probs" msg up permanently
Ali - yes - it has been quiet for ages. Have you been doing lots of sporty things thie w/e?

Ali Dubya Posted May 18, 2003
Hi Hazel (honeybun),
Yes, I suppose you could call it sport but my cricket was rained off.
How is the decorating proceeding? Have you decided which room you are going to paint purple yet?
Which is the Eject Button Hazel?
wysiwyger Posted May 18, 2003
Ali (pet),
decorating not really progressed much after initial flurry - but I have decided what to do and will have to do it in little bits. And NOTHING will be purple.
I have actually done something sporty today! Can you guess what?
