Sabbatical is a strange word that richly *deserves* to be over.
On the other hand "Paid vacation to the tropical spot of one's choosing" has a very nice ring to it.

Doh - I thought I'd joined in at the end of a conversation....
I've been out of the loop too long!

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Feb 4, 2008
Wow! Bassman's posting again now!!! This is just too weird. Have you all been communication with each other offsite and planning a staged mass return to h2? Who's next? Lighthousegirl? It's been far too long since we've seen her in these parts.

I was answering an e-mail from a lady that used to be in my class at school and I mentioned H2G2. I didn't realise how much I'd missed the place, so there was only one thing to do....

Same old - Same old!
Nothing outstanding - other than playing in front of 6500 shouty bikers at the BMF Memba Rally a couple of years ago - what a night. Trouble was looking back, the band were on for over an hour, but it seemed like 5 minutes.
I've been working down in Farnborough for 3 years, which kinda explains why I've not been about much, simply too busy to get on the site during the day and sloping off to an early bed in the evenings - possibly via the pub if it's a Tuesday.
I'm still living just outside Leicester, so doing lots of miles in the car and on the bike when the weather is fine!

I didn't realise how much I've missed the perverse sence of humour some of you guys have!!
I can see the pub from my bedroom window, but it's across afootball pitch - does that still count?
