Batty's House of Infinite Joy... Need we say more???
The Ghost of Polidari Posted Apr 17, 2002
I don't believe they'll let you into the audience unless you're wearing a tu-tu.
Preferably not Desmond.

Paul you can be my hostage any time...
Tac which ballet company are you going to see? Where is it? That's where the dress code might come in...

Tacsatduck, they *might* confiscate your H2G2
towel at the door, lest it set off the infinite improbabilty
drive that makes ballet and most operas possible.
Ballet is already so improbable, ot could be dissastrous
to make it any more so.

I don't know if I can even contemplate seeing Tac without his towel.. or is that only for the meet-up/pub crawls we seem to do??

tacsatduck- beware the <sheep> lie Posted Apr 17, 2002
I have only worn it for the meet ups. The rest of the time it hangs up on one of the doors in my room. and it is called the New York City Ballet www.nycballet.com

Tac, I'd recommend a dark suit. It will squeek by if it's black tie and if you're overdressed it just looks like you came from something else..

Wedding?
So are you engaged now?
We'll have to organize a stag party--invite Bambi and his friends....

A dark suit is very useful.. because it can get you through just about anything.. kind of the male version of the 'little black dress'..

My nephew is getting married in June, too.
It took all of three days to get the dinnerware
pattern he wanted. (Isn't online buying wonderful?)

I'm thinking of buying Shea and TJ something while I'm in Europe as my trip is just before the wedding.. they might be more receptive to the idea of sterling silver his and hers wedding sporks..

Well, Marjin, I`ll make you feel young, (or younger) again
I`ve just served the equivalent of three life sentences
Marjin's Anniversary Party!!
Batty_ACE Posted Apr 17, 2002
Congrats Marjin! This calls for a party!!! Or an escalation of this one at least... *pops a special anniversary bottle of <bubbly*
I dont remember the exact date, Tac. You're probably right about the 6th if it's a 42 thing..
