I say this after I got stopped at security at the airport because they questioned my eyelash curler... though they somehow had no problems with the immersion blender I had in the same carry-on.. guess the airline is more frightened of being curled than blended..

Every cloud has a silver lining, and I found mine:
I want to be an airline pilot, and apparantly there are fewer pilots now because less people are willing to fly. This leaves more jobs available to me by the time I can sign up to the airlines.
Very self centred I know, but if there is no silver lining, then they all died for nothing... and I'll never accept that.

but if there's less people flying isn't there less need for pilots?

My ex was a pilot.. do you know what you're in for education and training wise?

I meant there's less people willing to fly the planes.

And yes, I know what it takes... I've geared my whole life towards it...

If people are afraid to tell jokes about the most
important events of the day because of security
considerations, doesn't that create insecurity?

Anyway, I won't drink this without a promise
