People can be converted, Pierce. That's how my aunt became Jewish. Her mother was Irish, so that was not a factor.

none the less, paul h, i'm told (and i believe that it is a fact) that even if you convert you have to have a genuine jewish mother before you can be called a true jew.

Well, I've always said that my *real* mother is as good as a Jewish mother. So she accidentally didn't have any Jewish parents (that we know of ), so what?

Mozzarella sticks and escargots en beurre for appetizer.
Greek salad
Hot and sour soup
Big Macs with polenta and Zinfandel
Brazil nuts
For dessert: choice of tiramisu or Kiwi fruit

I'll take one of everything! cept the escargots... there are better ways to eat garlic butter than with eraser tips in it..
