People can be converted, Pierce. That's how my aunt became Jewish. Her mother was Irish, so that was not a factor.

none the less, paul h, i'm told (and i believe that it is a fact) that even if you convert you have to have a genuine jewish mother before you can be called a true jew.
no problem for me, though. and i trust it will be no problem for you either - or what?

Maybe Joan (my Jewish mother) will adopt him too.
Careful with those puns, Paulie.. I seem to remember Shea holding you down in a pub and beatin' the puns right out of you..

Is that a weasel in your loincloth or are you just glad to see me?

Pierce, I don't care whether my aunt is a *genuine* Jew or not. If she's happy, I'm happy.
Batty, if I have a Jewish aunt, do I need a Jewish mother, too?
Wouldn't that be like gilding the lily?
As for Shea beating the puns out of me, that would have taken a lot more strength than Shea (or anyone else) had. There are always more puns hiding deep inside me, that I can call on.

Well, I've always said that my *real* mother is as good as a Jewish mother. So she accidentally didn't have any Jewish parents (that we know of ), so what?
I also have a cousin who's a Native American and a nephew who's Russian.

I'm glad you're a lazy, happy cosmopolitan, Pierce. And please don't start talking about your international relations.
Is that enough?
