Royal Court of Damogran
Posted Jan 13, 2000
It is hard to believe that only one week ago there was no Royal Court of Damogran. Titled courtiers, foreign visitors, and all manner of folk have made their way to the Court. We have enjoyed feasting, drinking, merrymaking, dancing, storytelling and Questing adventures.
And we have adopted the Royal Dragon Seal of Damogran to stamp all of our decrees with our official stamp. Except that it turns out to be a seal, not a dragon at all. And it is small, white and fluffy, and loves snacks but hates b-a-t-h-s. It is also beginning to look as if it might be a selkie, one of the magickal folk of Scotland.
Will Spiny and Old Wolf return from their Quest with lotsa STUFF? Will the Queen lose her hearing from the constant blare of the trumpet in her ear? What will be the next Royal Decree? Or new delicacy to appear on the 'groaning board'? What new mysteries and adventures await in the Royal Court of the Dragon Queen of Damogran???
Join Buck Rodgers NEXT week...erm...no, no, that's not right!
Visit the Royal Court of Damogran at http://www.h2g2.com/A230545 . Nobles and common folk both welcomed. Titles available at reasonable discounts. 24 hour food service. We never close.

First Week of the Millennium
Posted Jan 5, 2000
Well, actually only the first 5 days.
The holidays are 'officially' over now, as the tree has been taken down both in my living room and on my h2g2 page. I miss the holiday smileys, tho. Especially the pudding.
Enjoyed following the progression of the Millennium celebration through the time zones. Especially Paris. I always wondered what the Eifel Tower was REALLY for. Now I know; it is a giant fireworks stand.
Very little is new here, except I have a wonderful new cold. But I think that the germs snuck in from the last millennium. And my computer still awaits a new power cord.
However there is something new on h2g2. A new country has come into existence recently. With a new ruler.
*ahem*
The Dragon Queen of Damogran invites you to visit her realm.

Last week of the Millennium
Posted Dec 28, 1999
Halloo to anyone who stops by, from the wilds of the True North...
I am off working on the construction of my new lair in the wilds of Northern Michigan. That's the REAL northern Michigan--the Upper Penninsual part. By gitchee-gumee [shinning big-sea water]. Just south of the Canada part, eh?
My computer continues to limp along needing constant recharges. So my time here is still limited. I am trying to get around to see all my friends, and respond to new visitors, but it is sorta hard to have enough time for all.
Meanwhile, I am sanding and painting, painting and sanding. there sure is a lotta wood in a log cabin...
If I dont make it to see all of my friends this week I will see you in the next Millennium. Which, I suspect, is going to be a great deal like the old one, only with different numbers.
And remember, the Solstice Festival continues until January 3 or thereabouts. And it IS working...the sun IS coming back.

Temporary fix
Posted Dec 23, 1999
My computer problems have been repaired -- temporarily.
I can charge the batteries, and then use them, and then charge them, and then use them, and so on.
So I will be here, then not here, then here, then not here, and so on...
Happy Solstice and millennium greetings to all who I may otherwise miss in my comings an goings.

Computer Problems
Posted Dec 21, 1999
HAALP!!!
I'm trapped here in the computer and can't get out. No power! Running on batteries. When they are gone--I'm done.
Trying to jury-rig something...
Stay tuned.
And where did that holiday tree come from??????
Sure is pretty.
