*Walks in through a door from the Central Hub*

*The room looks exactly like the inside of a camping tent, only bigger. The two walls of the "tent" slope upwards, joining at a point approximately six foot above. Below your feet you feel grass, slightly wet from the morning dew. As you look around, you begin to notice that the opposite wall of the tent flickers when you see it from the corner of your eye.*

[Axe] I asked the refitters to put in a Somebody Else's Problem field around the bridge. Nice effect, eh? EVA, deactivate the SEP field.

*As the tent scene fades away, you begin to see the real bridge. In front of you is a large viewscreen, while consoles line the other walls, displaying information and the ship schematic. As you look around, you begin to feel that the design is familiar, but you don't know where you've seen it before.*

[Axe] I modelled the bridge after an old Earth programme called "Star Trek", Zarquon knows why. I must have been drunk or something. Anyway, I like the retro feel of it.

Nothing really, just had some freighters running through the area that sent me back an image of a big ship...to make a long story short they were getting a bitt nervous about a ship your size being launched in their regular traffic area and wondering if they were going to get praied upon by yet another ship. I told them nothing of the kind would happen, I know the guy....so I just took this opportunity to get back in touch with you ya know? Hows things been?

I'm doing fine at the moment, apart of course for the "holiday" that I had a few days ago; I never could get the hang of caravans. Apart from that, I've been screwing around with my PC: with the expected results (no 'net for a few days) smiley - smiley. In other words, same old story.

What about you?

Well, got back from Britain the day before easter and ever since I've been trying to fix my car. Inbetween fixing and sleeping and eating I manage to get on here and to get some good racing in on Need For Speed 2 SE & N4S 4: High Stakes. The computer's not even a challenge anymore, it's just alot of fun driving those cars, that I may never get to drive in real life, and beating the crap out of them all in the name of winning. smiley - biggrin Good stuff

That won't be necessary, unless you're volunteering them for target or docking practice. Unfortunatly, the docing controls still aren't online anyway.

Alright. But I'm still bringing the HD2 out. *space shimmers and CV disappears* *The HD2 appears out of hyperspace nearby* [over hailing] I feel naked without a fighter.

*the HDII cloaks and runs after the freighters at maximum sublight* Inspections are always a good idea. *time passes* Ok, nothing of interest, just some agitated comments about being scanned from nowhere. *the HDII returns to formation with the Tripwire*

[EVA] CV is not currently onboard the UBS Tripwire, if you read the backlog you would notice he is onboard the Hitchhiker's Dream II currently following in formation.

[over radio] Where ya headed?
