Could we make this thread more interesting? Or even, make it simpler? I'm looking at it, with a new researcher, and it looks like a page of broken links or gibberish.

That's what he says, and I can see his point - I'm an old hand, and know what all the letters and numbers mean, and this thread is still a bit daunting. Or, dull.

Why not just give the title, and the link? Eg:

The Lincolnshire Flag: ______.
The Beatles etc: ________.

That way more people will read - and there'll be more chance of a proper peer review if you get people who really do know the subject well.

The problem isn't this thread. It's that the site's lost its mojo. This thread is just a way to keep some Askh2g2 regulars in touch with Peer Review, as few would seem to subscribe to the forum.

The site needs a complete revamp with new exciting products to bring a new generation of researchers here. I'd have hoped the Edited Guide would be central to that - it was Douglas's idea after all - but we'll see if it happens.

Yes, this thread is more aimed at old hands, just in case people who don't usually check Peer Review see something of interest...
