Hugo Chavez has finally left this mortal coil.

Make your own mind up about him. Not sure myself but nevertheless. The world could do with a few more who will stand up to the USA.

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

Well done to C Hawke, Mu Beta, Orcus, Peanut and swl.

smiley - yikes he was only 59. So, at 53, I need to start enjoying life, but not as much as him.

Today being March 5 it is the 30th anniversary of
the death of John Belushi. Hugo Chavez chose wisely.
Or, Belushi is finally out of purgatory.

Hugo Chavez was 58, same age as Paul Bearer (the urn-carrying wrestling manager) who also died yesterday. The Grim Reaper was indeed busy because my sister-in-law's mother died yesterday as well.

A87781972 and A87781963 updated. Peanut with hit #2 romps into an early lead.

smiley - snowballThe Americans got the blame for that Russian meteor strike in February too. They're a real force to be reckoned with, aren't they?

You can excuse the paranoia with the number of times the US tried to topple Chavez, perhaps. Unfortunately people kept returning him to power in free elections. Democracy can be inconvenient like that. smiley - winkeye

RIP Maggie. Thought I'd be dancing about it - but I'm not. It, as it happens, is sad when anyone dies.

Gosh.

I'm bemused by the "more on this" list beneath that article, which instructs "Live - Baroness Thatcher dies"
