I'm pretty sure I've had a couple of others, but those were years ago.

Well, first this year then.

I still haven't quite found the time to go back through all the archives an catalogue all the Quotes of the Day/Week/Indeterminate Periods of Time.

Though, if I ever did, I'd probably have to leave the Procrastinators Society. Ah well.

Is it only me who finds the whole process a bit "faffy"? Have to be in Pliny to C&P the link, check the post number (write it down somewhere) check the researcher who quoted (where's that bit of paper again), C&P the actual quote itself...


Is there a shorter/ simpler way that I'm not seeing?

I just can't get to grips with Pliny. It seems straightforward but I've been a Goo girl so long...

I'm a Brunel babe, meslef, and no, I don't like Pliny either, but it seems it's a necessary evil in certain instances. Such as being able to see the QOTD on the FP.

That wasn't quite* the word I was thinking of... But I@ve got to be a good girl now... and don't want to be rude

I don't exactly go out of my way to negotiate my around the site in Pliny. If I have to, I guess I can figure it out. I'm getting ready to write a novel next month. Gotta outline it in my head, so I won't get 3/4 of the way through it and realize that it can't actually end.

This week I am going to go out of my way to watch out for really quotable quotes.

They're are quotable quotes, and unquotable quotes, as there are unknown quotes, and known quotes, and, of course, there are the unknown quotes, but which we know do exist as quotes, though we remain unknowing of their quotability and true quote-nature Sometimes its so hard to figure out if I'm still drunk from the night before, or just really really hung over
