OMG - have you seen the new Google Doodle?

Here's the link: http://www.google.com/doodles/st-georges-day-2015
I noticed that there was recently another doodle with a very limited reach. German Google recently commemorated the beginning of Asparagus season.

The German asparagus season is a more interesting GD than St Georges day etc.
(I love asparagus and it reminds me of my Gran. But it does make my wee smell).

I've never noticed. I read something about that. It's genetic. But I can't remember which trait divides the population. There's two types of people, regarding asparagus wee. I can't remember if the difference is whether asparagus does or doesn't make their wee smell, or if the difference is whether or not they can smell it if it does.
.... let me check.
>Google University<
Ok, I'm apparently in the 75% of the population that can't smell it. But it does make everyone's pee stink. My father is in the other 25%.

Asparagus wee...?
OMG... the way these threads do tangle off into the obscure.
(Refrains from mentioning beet pee or green icing poo.)

I used to make a "trash can punch" we called Windexxx™ for big parties. The ingredient that gave it its trademark infringing color was Blue Curaçao, which apparently has high levels of blue dye.
I know the after effects of Windexxx™ and I expect they're quite similar to G.I.P.

A two year old eating an entire packed of blue Smarties has the same effect.
As does a small child eating his sister's blue crayon.

Fair dues PP.
A few years ago I was shocked and frightened for my life
when I noticed a bright green, almost flourescent glow in
my toilet bowl and in a panic went off for medical support.
I was met with polite amusement and asked if I had eaten
any green dyed foods the day before, Mar 17th, St Patty's.
Indeed I had, half of a large cake slathered thick with lots
of green icing.

Isn't it amazing how a post about nothing much happening on a particular date can trigger a conversation about brightly coloured pee.

Interactive. You can slide from Piano to Forte and Cristofori will play accordingly.

The piece about the creation of the doodle was interesting. I didn't realise the piece being played was from Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring until I read that. Once I knew, it was obvious. It's just the 'one finger' style of playing that made it hard to spot.

You won't see this in the UK, but today's is another animated doodle with an original tune to go with it celebrating Nellie Bly's 151st.

Today's doodle celebrates the 127th birthday of Inge Lehmann, the woman who discovered the Earth's core. This is an ironic choice of doodle, considering the recent earthquakes in Nepal. The range of this doodle is worldwide.
