In a cafe in Lisburn enjoying a mug of tea and a slice if granary toast. Left my car in at 9 to get brake pads replaced, thought this was going to take an hour, but apparently it'll be nearly 11.30 before it's ready. So when life gives you lemons, pour the ginantonix! So I'm bargain hunting round the charity shops, just found a pair of next jeans that fit like a glove so am well chuffed.

Same place, rural England. G is helping his Great Grandfather prepare a brace of pheasants for tomorrow's lunch. They have been hanging next to my gardening coat by the back door for a week since they were given to us as a present.

This sounds a bit dull after two great posts, but I'm now at brother-in-law's place. We have been promised bacon sarnies for breakfast.

We're in Stratford now. In Cafe Nero, who have just given us a load of cold drinks. So we've taken the drinks back and made them do it again.

In an unusally ambitious state of mind this morning(just past 9am local time) and I'm at the computer. That's Not unusual!But I already have a spicy chicken sausage with fennel, brussel sprouts & white beans on a slow simmer for an early lunch. In a nice creamy tomato sauce. Just need to stir in some fine/small pasta-think orzo-later.

At Webbs of Wychbold. We've seen Santa here too!

On my sofa with a mug of tea nearby and nothing special on TV.

Laying in bed, on top of the duck down duvet, with another duvet on top of me, my feet tucked into the two duvets to try and warm them up, the netbook on top of me, generating some heat, the HiFi in front of me playing radio four thorugh a set of speakers big enough to do Glasto with
Remote control and two telephones by my side, and my sleeves on my shirt rolled down (a veyr rare thing for me to do).
Feeling hungry but have had dinner already Wishign I had windows whic worked in the house and stopped heat escaping and water/wind coming in

Not specifically...

But we do have a 3 year old boy, so find ourselves doing kind of thing. He was better with the Santa today, though. He was hiding behind me the whole time last week.

I am also of a sofa, with a mug of in my hand, while my wife ebays beside me.

My youngest hated the grotto experience and wouldn't be dragged there again after the first time.
