Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Started conversation Apr 24, 2009
Researcher Pheloxi U170113 (Peter) died on 19 April. His brother kindly let us know, F64198?thread=6507944 and Pheloxi is being cremated today in The Netherlands. For those unable to attend please post flowers, thoughts, wishes, a candle, or just post a smiley here. There are postings, journals, etc around the site which I'll leave links to for reading and comments - please could this thread be just for the duration of today, the first Pheloxi Remembrance Day. Thank you
for Pheloxi

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

To Pheloxi, an already very sadly missed neon Researcher and rainbow being. Best wishes to you and your family.

Hope fades into the world of night,
Through shadows falling out of memory and time.
Don't say that we have come now to the end,
White shores are calling, you and I will meet again.
Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see, all your fears will pass away.

This is quite wonderful and very moving. It feels like there is a rainbow reaching all around the world. I'm lighting my candle now.
