It is with sincere sadness that I inform you of the loss of my oldest friend friend in Hootoo: F64198?thread=6507944

When I first came online 5 years ago, Pheloxi was the first person to chat with me. He and da Silva stayed by my side and helped me settle in.

I've had many cuts and scrapes, but Pheloxi has always been there to hold out a steadying hand to keep me safe. He is well known in here for being a man of peace, and his world interests were huge.

It was Pheloxi who named me 'Auntie Giggles' and I shall wear that tag with pride.

Remember, when you come across someone struggling with their English, usually Pheloxi would say 'Try speaking Dutch!'

And like with you, he was one of the first friends I made here.

I will miss him.

I know that words will never be enough or smileys either. My thoughts are with all who have been touched by his presence.

Pheloxi was one of the first people who I made froends with. He will greatly be missed on h2g2 as he contributed a great deal on h2g2 ang was also willing people and cheer them up when they were down.

I didn't know him well online and never met him offline (though I wish I had.) From the contact we did have he made my world a better place.

I didn't know him well, but we'd met a few times on a number of threads.
I'll miss his humour.

i met him online and in real live years ago at 'my' first dutch meet

at first he came across as a very odd fellow, but you could tell right away what a nice an peace loving man he was

all i can think of now is don mcleans song about pheloxi's countryman vincent van gogh:

His brother was told it was either a heart attack, or a stroke

I can see by the tributes that he touched a lot of hearts here.

Pheloxi was always one to make your thoughts go lateral. This was very sad news, and very very unexpected, at least by me.

i would like to put forward a surjestion, something i dont think as ever before been done.

is it possible the staff of h2g2, can acsess the space he had. and leave a lasting message for others that find the space, will see.

to say when he joined the h2g2 and the date he left to join the other h2g2ers long passed on.
