No woman will ever love Ben as much as he loves himself. I hope he fails badly, the self-regarding little arse.

Deborah is lucky she wasn't smacked at several points - hmm, I'll try and kick off some trouble for someone by feigning offense at a perfectly innocent comment.

Liked Kim, just for standing up to Deborah, and James is growing on me, though he really needs to stop smoking - his voice sounds like he's on 60 a day or something.

Maj deserved to go, 3 episodes in and he hadn't done a thing.

Ignore that in my last post - Phil is the one who's growing on me and has a scarily gravelly voice.

I'd rather have seen one of the other two go for their obvious failures than Majid go without being a chance to fall or rise by his own project managing.
Or maybe I'm biased in favour nonchalant beardies with a sense of humour.

I really liked Phil this week, i think he could be in the final!

Keeping your head down and trying to blend into the background are obviously not options this year. I reckon Noorul ticks those boxes.

Yuk! No. He's a disgrace to the profession.

Phil's a good chap, but he will probably be caught up on a financial task - remember he's an estate agent. I'm loathe to admit it, but I quite like the American lass.

Right I'm going for Debra to win...she was the other woman in the boardroom this week that didn't get fired.

Can't stand that Scottish costs bloke who stated bleating on about being a Sandhurst applicant.

And I agreed with Sir Al that it was a good product. 'Rock Poole' was a clever name. So as leader she ought to have eaten the Scottish *costs* guy for breakfast. She didn't so she had to go.

Sorry that should be Yasmina, not Debra

I thought he was Irish?

In any case, keeping Ben in is all about audience figures. He unquestionably deserved to be fired - not only for his negligence but for his appalling behaviour in the boardroom. The girl was weak. She didn't make her case clearly or strongly enough and for that reason imo she was fired.

Oh yes, apologies to all Scots, he's Belfast "To me making money is better than sex." Ben. And yes you're right he's the 'hate' figure that needs to stay in.

Ben is this years Micheal Sophocles/Tre Azam, Debra is the Clare Young/Katie Hopkins type.

I don't think Yasmina will win, but she'll probably last to the week before interviews.

Kim was good this week and I think Phil's temper will cost him.

Sho - employed again!

As soon as he mentioned Sandhurst (it's my first time of watching this series) I wanted to punch him in the face and remind him exactly how a team works.

I felt a bit sorry for the lass who went, but Ben is clearly a "bums on seats" guy for the programme so I guess he'll be here a long time.

I have to say although Ben* will walk sooner or later I was saying long before the firing last night. They're after a good, rounded business person no?
So being an 'I'm not good at costing' sort of person is not really someone who is competent for the job.

So on that basis, desite Ben being a twonk and Noorul being a loser, she had to go last night.
The other two have had their cards well and truly marked though.

Scene of the series last night though was Nick dropping a bomb (re the cost of sandalwood) in the ladies team and then saying "I'll just leave that with you then." I certainly did smiley - laugh and nearly fell on the floor. smiley - ok
Outstanding.

not to mention Noorul who would have gone if his team had lost - as the should.

Yeah that scene with nick is a great example of what makes it so addictive viewing-I'm hooked all over again.

I love the way the candidates keep making the most basic of mistakes over and over again because they are all so busy trying to be clever rather than just doing the task with a modicum of common sense. After all its not as if Sir Alan goes on about much costs is it smiley - laugh. It makes for shout-at-the-TV viewing.

Oh, the dropping of the sandalwood bombshell was sheer genius smiley - rofl

I have to say, though, I was surprised that Paula didn't go with picking on yasmina... She was sitting there with her going through the costings and didn't double check the situation. I think if she'd have done that and ignored Ben entirely, she might have stayed in... In my opinion she fired for the wrong target.

Well I'm seriously thinking of going to the bookies and putting a fiver on Yasmina to win; she's my horse now. My last year's horse, Clare came second. Oh my god I'm just so hooked now...smiley - laugh

Right, I've had to stick my fingers in my ears and go "la la la" until I got watching it on iPlayer.

Gawd almighty Ben's annoying!

Noorul had a very lucky escape there - he won't last long.

And Nick's sandalwood bombshell was - literally - priceless.

It's funny, my other half watched it with me... He went from sheer distaste at the capitalist smiley - bleep and their pointless lives to laughing along with me at the sheer idiocy being displayed.

There were a few choice moments such as the shouty chap working with the two girls (I dunno, names are not my strong point) yelling his head off then shouting 'I'm NOT being like THIS!'

I admit to a small roffle... Self-awareness not his strong-point, then?

I went to the bookies but was told you can't bet on the Apprentice because it is pre-recorded and the winner already known, although kept secret. The woman did however say I was welcome to put a bet on the winner of the Eurovision song contest; I politely declined. smiley - laugh
