Hmmm. Well, being a 6ft tall straight man myself, the possiblity of finding someone taller than me is statistically less likely than if I were a 6ft tall straight woman, but the idea isn't at all unappealing. Heels can make a world of difference, though. It's interesting that it is automatically presumed that a straight man who has a partner taller than him wants to be 'dominated'. Although that could doubtless be rather fun in some circumstances, I wouldn't necessarily presume that was the case. No such assumption would be made if the roles were reversed.

I'm not so sure that no such assumption is made about short women and tall men. Our sexism is hard to see, in the same way one can't see air.

Luckily, and I mean really lucky.....
I haven't had to compromise.
Is there a smug smiley?

Xanatic: I still think "you're not my type" is valid. There are certain items on our ideal shopping list which are negotiable, but then again, there are certain ones which are not.
"You're not my type" is also quite a bit nicer than "You're dumber than a box of rocks and I can't stand you."

Once I was asked "Kylie or Britney?" Kylie is the answer for me, you need the right amount of curves, oh yeah, Kylie has got the right amount of curves.
Britney, I do not like. *wanders off muttering something about flubber in a red plastic bag.*

I don't know if you could really call Kylie curvy. She's rather petite I'd say.

Incidentally to the person who earlier said they took offense (sort of) at being called cuddly, I would consider Kylie quite cuddly. Just to show how its not a euphamism for being fat, which Kylie obviously isn't...

I agree with Xanatic and Serephina that Kylie is quite tiny and not what I'd consider 'curvy'. But I also agree with Bouncy that 'cuddly' doesn't have to mean 'squishy'.
As for Britney, am I the only person who thinks she looks like trailer trash? Sorry, that's not a very nice term, but there is something in her face that looks very unpleasant to me and reminds me of this.
Meanwhile, who are the *real* curvy women in the media these days? Perhaps Catherine Zeta Jones? Angelina Jolie? Sophie Dahl was quite curvy and luscious for awhile, then she went all skinny. Same with Kate Winslet. I read somewhere that Liv Tyler refused to lose weight for a new role and wasn't hired as a result. Weird that 'real women' are deemed somehow unacceptable . . .
