Wait... I came here on 9.9.1999...

So, I still haven't been here for six years.

Feisor was here before me and hasn't quite been here six years.

When did TDV launch this site?

Why are we called researchers?

How did this website get so big so fast since the film just came out?

Where can I buy a toy Marvin?

They can have their toy Marvins. I don't want one - he's nothing like the one in the book. I'll have Alan Rickman though (there's quite a price on his head in the smiley - drool thread)

Amy: ear-deep in novels, poetics, and historical documents.

Count Zero - H2G2 was launched 28 April 1999, I think.

So it's almost H2G2's sixth birthday. smiley - smileysmiley - cake

I had a confused period when I first joined, can I use that as an excuse? smiley - winkeye

Well, Happy 6 to H2G2 and to Marv...have some smiley - cake and smiley - bubbly, everyone! smiley - biggrin

Hmmm. Here's a question I just know we'll be getting --- "Why can't we have a (fill in the blank) smiley?"

I am so old I don't know what ASL means, I've been racking my brains since I read it here but am not ashamed to show my ignorance. I' sure someone will help an old fogey out.

(Changeling - I thought your questions in that last post were serious. Some good points made there. But sometimes it would be nice if people spent more time over their posts. Ten minutes need not necessarily be a bad thing. Provided the final result has content worth reading about!)

Sadly I've almost given up on the Edited Guide. I rarely read the new entries... I rarely want to these days.
