I like sex when I have had a few 's but making love reunites the bond between 2 people. Take the Osprey (fish eagle type thing). When it returns to the nest the male always mates with the female (chick or no chick) and therefore it is maintaining its lifetime bond with it's mate.

Maintaining life bond...wonder if the wife'll buy that.

Circumcision: I have a unique* perspective on this; at least, one that hasn't been brought up so far on this thread. Anyone who thinks this is "too much information" should start paging down now.

Most men are circumcised either at birth, or pre-pubescence. I was circumcised at age 35. The reason for it was sexual: I was unable to penetrate without causing myself acute pain, as my foreskin was too tight. The solutions to this were either lubrication or using a condom (without pushing the foreskin back).

My first penetrative sexual experience was painful (and unsuccessful, needless to mention!) Fortunately, me and my then partner were able to resolve this by the use of hand cream. Since then, it has always been an issue for me, to the extent that I would back away from making sexual advances to women because I knew I was "no good in bed". That worked wonders for my self-confidence, as you can imagine. This probably explains why I am at the low end of the chart for number of sexual partners. There was one period in my life when I didn't have sex for 3 years.

Fast-forwarding a few years, I got a job that provided medical cover. I went to my doctor, who was sympathetic, and provided me with a referral to a specialist.

Like a fool, I didn't go. I broke up with my then partner, and didn't follow it up.

3 years later, and with someone else, I went back to my doctor, and this time had the consultation, and the operation, in fairly short order (hell, if your company gives you a medical plan, use it! ). Since then I've had sex with 2 people, and I can report that it is massively, hugely, incredibly better without a foreskin than with. I should point out, however, that this is because of the difficulties I experienced before the operation. Comparison of someone with a normally-functioning foreskin having the snip may make for a different case.

The upshot of this is that I am trying to make up for what I consider to be my lost youth, when I should've been out shagging anything in a skirt; but instead hid my light under a bushel and instead of sowing any wild oats, spread a thin porridge upon the ground.

OK, you probably now know more about me than you are comfortable with! I did warn you!

On the subject of potentially painful rearrangements of one's nether regions - has anybody noticed a difference after vasectomy?

(My episiotomy scar sometimes 'throbs' - you'd think it'd have sorted itself out after 24yrs!)

They said I could have surgery on my banjo string when I snapped it but noone is going anywhere near my jewels with a knife!!! So it just flaps in the wind.

I had the op done under general anaesthetic, Teuchter. What may be a reasonably simple and quick slice of the knife to a newborn boy is actually quite an involved procedure on a fully-grown male.
