You can call me TC

Hi Gingersnapper - the thing about the pictures was explained when the beta site was up for perusal by us users. Those threads shouldn't be too hard to find. You've come to the right place, anyway.

You can call me TC

Try this

F77636?thread=7874056&skip=122&show=20

I've heard that links to conversations don't work in the new skin so I hope you're not using that. Anyway, in order to upload a picture, you have to get into the new skin and follow the menus, IIRC.

i know its in dawkins, but i would love to find the bit where clive explains to warner about the reliability and accuracy of different methods of dating things going way way back, because warner didn't accept numbers larger than a million years, and came up with the concept of 'carpenter time'???

So Taff, you already know *exactly* which thread you want and where this thread is, and all you're asking is for someone else to go through the 27,856 posts made in almost 4 years from March 2007 until last week, to find something you'd like to read again.

Is there any reason why you couldn't do this yourself? Goo with frames makes it easier to skim a thread and you'll easily spot Clive's postings. I've looked as far as #1200 so far so you could start from there, unless you have a better idea of the year.

Narrowing it down for you, I believe the conversation you're looking for will be found somewhere in 2009, possibly between June and September and might not be in Dawkins, it might be in "Jesus is coming...", but I think it is most likely to be found in "There is none with greater power".

From June 2009, in the "There is none with greater power" thread F16034?thread=6311115&skip=1300&show=20 #1309 onwards (for quite a few postings!)

This was returned to from July 30th 2009 in : F16034?thread=6311115&skip=1780&show=20 #1786 onwards where you were asked if you'd followed something up from 6 weeks previously.

For future reference to warner's threads, he's written a helpful index: A45780654

Your search - "surfing bird" +taff site:http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2 - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.

Or just be more bloody specific.

Jeeze, Taff, give us a few clues. In Ask? How long ago? Did you post the whole lyrics as a cut and paste?

Does anyone know where the recent-ish threads on swearing on noohootoo are? Anything since Jan would be good. Some of the discussion will be in threads about other things.
