I'm not sure if this is the actual "quotes that make you laugh" thread so I'll have another look, but the "Quote Thread" ran to 1980 postings, so some of them must be amusing!

As for the Mp3 one, I've a feeling this wasn't in Ask, but on someone's Personal Space. If only I could remember who...

That's a bit non specific and there are several. Was there something particular you wanted? Try one of these:
Safari cache: F83504?thread=5164657
Safari address bar question: F83504?thread=4565317
Does Safari load h2g2 pages from the cache?: F83504?thread=3714987

Ah, sorry I wasn't more specific, coelacanth - didn't realise there were so many of them.
This one was comparing the benefits of Safari to other browsers, though come to think of it, it may have been a thread about IE where a lot of people kept recommending Safari.
Hmmm... maybe I'll just start a new one.
Thanks!

Also !
I hereby challenge King Bomba to go through the entire "Where's that thread" thread and come back with the following results:
The total number of requests for threads =
The total number of successful answers in full or part =
The total number of failed requests where no link was provided =
The total number of requests that ended in someone starting a new thread =
That should keep you busy!

Just to say that the reason I started a new thread was because I realised that the one I had been thinking about was actually about using IE and then drifted into a lot of stuff about Safari. So I thought it would be better to start one that was specifically about Safari as my questions were about how it functioned, not how it compared to other browsers.
I don't think coelacanth and/or kea have ever let me down here and I am always amazed by their uncanny ability to track stuff down.
Well done chicas!

Sheesh. Nobody can so much as fart on this site without starting a row these days!
It was actually a joke because of the iPod thread I asked for, which I turned out to have imagined, so I started my own one.
