@ Lanza
If it's plural (cars) there ARE fewer.
If it's collective (traffic) there IS less.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

ASDA, (in their non-wisdom), with the notice saying, something like 'we thank your customers for enabling us to use less carrier bags', kindly informed us their carrier bags are either smaller, or made out of less plastic than before. They meant 'fewer'.
Less beer is a smaller glass of beer. Fewer beers, is a reduced number of pints. smiley - huh I think smiley - headhurts

I blame 2legs for my fewer sized bags of flour being too small but my having fewer space on the kitchen front than I'd need, meaning I can't buy a 16 KG bag of stoneground smiley - wah

err... I mean less space than I need in the kitchen front, meaning I have to have numerous smaller bags, containing less flour than I want, as these will fit on a shelf, whereas the larger 16 KG bag of stoneground, would be too big to fit in the increasingly fewer bits of space left in the kitchen... smiley - huh

I've fewer brain cells left than I had when I woke this morning, the number will probably be fewer again by the end of Sunday night pub visit... and, of that which is left, they just somehow seem less efficient.... maybe they've lessened in size as well as befoming fewer in number... A situation for which I blame, Adnams brewry, Hopback brewery, Woodfords brewery the green jack brewing Co, the Kingston, the Cambridge Blue, and many more besides. smiley - headhurtssmiley - dohsmiley - headhurts

I blame 2legs for my not having made any cheese scones today... smiley - cheese

What size of cooling rack do you use, 2legs. Naturally I blame you for reminding me about this.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

Not sure what actual size each cooling rack tray is, but there are six, which stack.... if they weren't stack they'd never all fit on teh worktop smiley - snork plus Ihave an ordinary, older cooling rack, and if things get desperate I can always use the wire rack bit from the grill pan smiley - snork and one of the spare shelves rom the oven does well for a make do cooling rack too smiley - snork need more worktop space and cupboards though... and a larger oven... smiley - snorksmiley - doh

I continue to blame 2legs for long afternoon naps, not being able to fall sleep until next morning, unsufficient amount of sleep as a result of that, general tiredness and prolonged procrastination and undecidedness about what to make for dinner.

It must all be his fault.

I blame 2legs for one half of one percent. I further blame him that I'm not explaining, 'cause it's a long story (also his fault) and can be found in my journal.
